Power steering lines

So I did a little research on my leaking line and cant quite figure out which one is which. The 2 lines that go by the front cross member to the steering rack, one of them rusted through. Which one is which? They go from rubber to steel and back to rubber a few times.

Looks like it's all one asy from the dealer and expensive , I'm sure there's an aftermarket option.

If you're looking right where the lines enter the rack, the upper line is low pressure return. The line about an inch below that is the high pressure line and must be bought as a complete line all the way to the pump/reservoir, unless you could find a transmission/hydraulic line build who could make a comparable line for you.

I just did this a couple weeks ago! If you're looking at the power steering pump, one of the lines goes into a banjo bolt and a sensor is attached to it as well. That's your high pressure line. The low pressure line goes straight down to the ground off of the pump. I bought my lines from O'Reilly's since they have a lifetime warranty and the Toyota ones cost way too much.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm in luck and its only the return line. Ill take an easy fix over an expensive fix any day of the week.
