headlight bulb options

being that i am not looking to spend 400-600 on projectors, i am looking for something better that the outdated stock bulbs. what is the best one to use? what lasts? i've had my truck for almost 4 years and one bulb burned out on the low side.

I bought Sylvania 9003 SilverStar until I go projector. Have only had them in for a few weeks, lo beams are not great but the hi side kicks ass. Decent headlight tho for the most part.

I had bad luck with SiverStars. Really crappy lifespan. 6-9 months.

I installed these in September 2014 and still going strong. PIAA makes the best bulbs.

OEM are probably the longest lasting. My PIAAs only lasted 14 months, my silverstars only 12.

If you're gonna get the pricier bulbs at least get them on ebay or amazon where they are cheaper. Luck.

I've ordered a couple of Hella 100/55W H4's to replace my stock bulbs.
I'll let you guys know how that works out.
