Tundra Brake Upgrade: Brake Pads Side Specific?

I am in the middle of doing the Tundra Brake Upgrade (199mm), with OEM pads (04465-0C012). The pads look identical, but two have an "A" stamped in them and two have a "B." Are these pads side specific? Are A's supposed to go outside and B's outside or all A's on driver side/ B's on pass side etc?

Any quick help is definitely appreciated! Rig is torn apart in the garage...

I did try a search, couldn't find anything.

Thanks!

Bump

This is what the pads look like. As you can see the bottom left of each pad is marked with an "A" or "B."

I installed them like this:

Driver Side "A" Outboard "B" Inboard
Passenger Side "B" Outboard "A" Inboard

My logic was to keep the wear clip facing up on both sides.

I've already bedded them, and it isn't pulling one way or the other while braking. Please tell me I didn't install them wrong.

I have installed pads with the pad wear indicator in both locations, down and up, with no ill harm.

If they don't give you any trouble, enjoy the upgrade.

Yup, I noticed they were all identical so I didn't worry about it, greased the shims and haven't looked back in over a year.
