What do you guys recommend, since I am in this mess. I have Icon 2.5 CDC extended travel shocks. I believe basically similar travel to bilstein 5100 aka long travel shocks.
Do you recommend, mounted the shocks on the outside ? My concerns for this is, will a 285/75/16 fit between tire and the 2.5 shocks when fully flexed.
Another thing I had in mind. Was to cut out the top shock tower. And weld a square plate. Taking the shape of the corner frame. Which would have the shock a little higher. Because the oem tower is a bowl shaped.
