I'm probably going TG adapters also if I do this, so your box & adapters measurement would be appropriate for my driveshaft calculations.

Can you explain how the levers work with that setup? Does the factory lever still have its J pattern?

So the Left lever is a hi/low for the rear (stock) Case.
the center lever is a hi/low for the front reduction box.
the right lever is the 2wd/4wd lever.
if you look at the pic of the transerfcases you can see that the center shifter is simply the top shift of the reduction box. the two outer are connected to a rod that actuates a lever at the back case to operate the hi/low and the 2wd/4wd. This brings up another issue that is exclusive to the triple stick set up. you have to remove the interlock pins so that the hi/low side can function apart from the 2wd/4wd. So no j-shift with triple sticks.

LoL It was throwing me so I switched it to the right lever. After the pic was taken of course.

BJust got mine, haven't have time to install yet. Maybe after the new year, Front case is MC 4.7 all 23 spline, bolt back to my h-n-l rear mult-mode case. Future plan is to run just a twin stick setup only(front case h-n-l, rear h-n-l). I have manual locking hub, so I figure no need for low 2wd stick. Oh yes its a Automatic not sure how I'm going to stop it yet! hahaha

I'm a gen 2 early here as I have dual cases in my 90' Runner. I have the Marlin dual ultimate crawler setup with the stock 2.28 case in front of a 4.7 case.
It's definitely an investment as others have mentioned. You'll need the new drivelines, custom cross member, ideally a 23 spline input shaft to handle all the torque, and I'd recommend new motor mounts.
I also had to relocate my rear window switch as the 4.7 shifter now comes up through the floor there.
But once you are setup you got:
-20 forward gears and 4 reverse, you have the right gear for any situation
-A crawl ratio of about 220:1 in your lowest gear
-2lo in any gear , 2lo w/ the rear locked if you want
-Lots of fun shifters to play with

Cup holders are nice, My wife really agrees, and having the triple stick is great. I wish I had replaced the bearings in my crawl box while i had it apart. I get some growling if I short shift to soon on the street. next time it is out (hopefully no time soon) I will be putting new bearings in.

@ Rockdawg84
, I don't have a built thread due to others who have their own opinion. All my built even my 3gen pickup SAS I don't have one. People always have different way of building their shit. Some just have to stick their 2 cent in it. I rather not deal with it! But I'll keep update.on pics coming! Here a few of my truck sas, 37s, dual cases, 5.29, air lockers, blah blah. .lmao

Thanks for this post. I'm getting ready to go with dual cases in my 99 3rd gen and it's helping a lot.
