OEM Foglight Installation?
I would like to install some OEM fog lights on a 1999 SR5 that that did NOT come from the factory with fog lights. The bumper has the holes for the fog lights.
Can someone tell me if the wiring for the lights is already in place in the harness? I will also have to replace the multifunction switch, but I don't know if it is plug and play, or there is more involved than just replacing the switch.
Is there somebody that has attempted this? If the installation is more work than it's worth, I may just mount some Rigid lights on the bumper.

The wiring should be there for the fog lights to plug in. You can wire up your own switch or find a factory switch.
OEM fog lights
It's the 10th link down on the left.

That's what I did... If pre-wired (SR5 should be), all you need is:
- Relay
- Fuse
- New headlight stalk (look for Camry/Solara/Sienna used switches with no DRL control)
- Fog lights
That's it. All plug-n-play.

I found out that the OEM headlight/fog light switch from 96-99 is diferent from 2000-2002.The Fog lights and Realy are the Same on all years.
For my 2001 SR5 I used part #84140-14120 (SWITCH ASSY , HEADLAMP
Also need a Fog Relay,Fog Lights,15A Fuse The rest is plug and play!

To be clear, you need the foglights plus the support brackets, if you are going to use the factory holes. Or fab your own. Many of the used lights for sale on eBay do include the brackets. My '99 SR5 is pre-wired, but no support brackets--just a blind hole in the valence.

I know the fog light switch is different from 96-98 and 99-02, but is it common for the earlier 96-98 models to come pre-wired for fog lights?
I know the type of fog lights are different too between those years

None were. It was a dealer/port installed option... similar to how the keyless/alarm systems were on the '96-'98's.
