Bulb type part number for normal NOT LED bulbs

Ok, so I'm sure that someone will just direct me to one of the many threads out there, but unless I'm completely blind I can't for the life of me locate the part numbers for plain jane simple NON LED bulbs.
More specifically, the bulbs for the auto-climate control in the 99-02 Limiteds.

Can these bulbs be purchased locally (AutoZone, RadioShack, etc) and will they be bulb only that I have to place into the existing socket or will the come with a socket and just be plug and play.

Please dumb this down for me, because I've searched and Googled for hours.

My biggest thing is I just don't want to deal with shipping and wait times and the potential hassle of getting bad LED bulbs like so many people report. I get a bad normal bulb, I just take it back and exchange it.

In a 2001 Limited, should be:

81850-35040 14V 80MA 2
81850-35050 14V 110MA 2

The final 2 means two of each.

I can't say about aftermarket replacements as I have never touched an auto type control. In general, yes, you have to reuse your sockets, if you can find it at all.

This thread suggests I have it right on the p/n's.

2002 HVAC bulbs?

autoillumination has cross references for them both on this page:

http://www.autolumination.com/instru..._led_bulbs.htm

I won't guarantee they work, but I don't know why they wouldn't.

My computer at work says it is a #74 bulb. It also says to compare to original before selling. So I would bring in your old bulb with you and compare one at a parts store. They don't come with a socket so you'd have to reuse yours.

LEDs should have the same part number, either 74 or 194 depending on your year etc.

Any parts store should have amber and clear, the bulbs in turn signals and corners markers on a few models are the same.

It's not #74 bulbs. They are 2 - Neo Wedge T4 behind the LCD display and 2 - Neo Wedge T3 bulbs for the button backlighting. I sell a lot of LEDs for these things and have gotten very few bad leds and actually the LEDs don't go bad it's always a bad solder job on the load resistor or the LED pad itself which I can fix. Superbrightleds had some nice LEDs. Autolumination too but more expensive. There are some T3 and T4 incandescent bulbs on Ebay that I just got and are pretty good. Obviously dont have the green silicone covers on them like the OEM bulbs have. The covers can be easily removed and put on the new bulbs. Might have to warm them up if they are hard to get off. The The OEM T3 bulbs is a very odd shape and is not made aftermarket. The silicone covers will need to be glued on the new bulbs.

With these T3s, the wedge part is a little too big but a quick cut with an Exacto blade or using a Dremel to shave them down works perfectly

There are T4s from the same seller. Look the same but are the next size up. Plug and play as you asked.

Or you can get the OEM bulbs. The part #s theDurk quoted are correct. About $6-8 each bulb.

And this is why I asked this question specifically. Haha no one is fully sure apparently.

I found these at O'Reilly and might try them.
I really don't want to spend $6-8 a bulb, almost on principle.
