Windshield Gasket Question

Hey guys

My 99 base model looks like this:

Today I saw a 99 SR5 with the same paint color, and noticed it looks a little different:

Am I missing a top gasket or something? Maybe this guy? Also, anyone know the difference between the regular and the "cold spec" one?

I had my glass replaced and they ended up doing the same thing. So far only negative is more drainage down the windshield and water streaks along the roof.

Man now that you point that out, I think they did the same thing to me when they replaced my wind shield. SOB

Most likely someone replaced it, the glass shops buy the cheapest they can find. Of course you'd be buying a new windshield to replace it properly, unless you get really lucky pulling the old one.

Ok thanks guys. I wondered if there was a top gasket that just snapped in or something. The current one looks a bit funny but seems to be working fine. But it does present kind of a channel that lets crap build up.
