If you know your way around wiring, reading wire schematics, and fluent in metal fabrication- you should be able to get it done.
If not, you may be over your head.

Good luck, some 1uz tips

-you can wire it up and by pass the trac and get it to run. Don't be afraid of that.
If your wiring skills are good, you can wire the trac motor that controls the butterfly, so that the butterfly acts as kill switch

Don't be worried about dialing in kick down cable until you have the motor running soild

If you plan to use the 1uz trans and convert to 4wd you need to change the output shaft and tail housing or buy the part from Marlin crawler which makes a pre runner adopter to use with out tearing into trans

There will be some clearance issues, body lift if you want to keep factory hood

Find yourself a set of 2uz log style exhaust manifolds. It will save you a ton of pain putting the motor in and pulling it. Might need to cut flange and clock it for clearance, you will definitely be pulling motor for this

Also there are slight difference between the sc400 and ls400 versions of the motor. Example is the oil filter mount, the sc400 is tighter to body and will provide more clearance also the sc400 air box is very close to the 4runners except the air duct opening is In front instead of off to the side and into the fender we'll like the 4runners. The air boxes use the same filter tho

Also if you have motor in transitional year late 94 early 95. Be prepared for the wiring schematic not to match factory service manuals due to obd2 transition.

Get yourself a extra mass air flow.
