That looks good, and for 3k, that might make it worth it. It does look beat up, says seats are ripped and the obvious dings and stuff. If you are going to follow through take it to your local mechanic shop and have them check it over

If you take that New York City runner to the country, you'd have to spend months calming it down...removing its agressiveness...it would be tough...it'd be yelling at other cars "Can't you see I'm driving here!"...might be a bit emberassing out in the high plains.

Wow that's beat. I wonder why it looks like someone took a pry bar to try to open the rear door.
Looks more like a $1500 4Runner to me.

I just wonder how they managed to put that rear spoiler lol.
If you go on Craigslist and type 4Runner. For NJ , there are like 20 for sale.

I drive my 4Runner in Manhattan from time to time. It's a great choice for that. It's big enough to put fear into most cars, and at least leave you equal to the taxis. You can blast over potholes and steel plates that would cripple regular cars. The height gives really needed visibility to plot your lines as you try to weave your way up a crowded avenue. Plate bumpers would be awesome....someday. You can park in most spots, and being able to jump a curb helps from time to time, as does the ability to park on top of a snow pile without fear of getting stuck.
The bummer is the 4Runner is on some ridiculous NYC official list as an "oversized" vehicle that get you hit with a painful premium on top of the already criminal NYC parking garage rates. Bigger sedans that take up more space don't have to pay this. Pisses me off.

That's a proper city 4Runner with the scars to prove it. I drive mine in Manhattan often. Crown Vic durability with better visibility. So when is the next snow storm? NYC expedition anyone? You Colorado guys don't know what you're missing.
