Buy extras and practice on some extra material. It'll be easy if you get a rivnut tool, but you can do it with a bolt and a 'flat washer' that you can hold to keep from turning. Drill the hold so you have to just lightly tap the rivnut in place before crushing to get the best fit and easiest install.
