power seat swap?

are 99+ sr5 runners prewired for power seats?

i found a great deal on set of leather seats from 97, but they're power and mine aren't.... is the swap just bolt on or do i have to get wiring too?:awais:

You will need to wire them. I added power leather to my 00, the seats were a direct bolt in and I had a friend wire them, he used the power window lines to splice into. Only issue was the seats did not work when the truck was off like power seats are supposed to.

I know that question was not directed at me but.... I was able to find the complete interior, both front seats and the complete rear bench for $750 and I installed them and a buddy wired them, I think shipping was around $400 from LA to MA, but that was a freight company which took a long time to find and they almost never picked up the seats, but it was still worth it as fedex wanted over a grand to ship them. I found mine on Ebay, actually a friend found them and I ended up out bidding him, but in the end he admitted he couldn't afford it anyway. Mine were from an 00.

i am the buddy that found htem for pat, and now i have them in my runner. he is correct. you just tap in to the power window wires on both sides, as that is perhaps the only 30 amp circuit that is easily accessible. no problems at all. super easy.

wired for movement?

sorry don't mean to sound stupid but this is news to me-power leather seats?

Power to do the adjusting forward and back and so on-even the lumbar support?

What does the power do in the back seat?

I have never driven that class of vehicle-would this have been like a Limited option?

I have only ever had SR5 trim levels in Toyota- but my present 99-3rd gen does have leather seats.

It amazes me every single day the stuff we are into.....

I was wondering if there was any images of this I have a 97 and currently trying to upgrade to power seats. was curious if there was a pic of the wires to use for my windows?
