I bought some KO2's on this a year ago....50 miles into it...bolt completely through right on the outside crown/sidewall. They would not cover it under the road hazard because you give up everything for that price. Not one "name brand" tire shop would fix it, and only wanted to sell me a new tire. Luckily I found a small tire shop who would patch it...still holding...and will buy my next set of tires from them even though they are about 25 a tire more!!

just putting it out there.
I got a set of duratracs last year from them and it was a great deal and transaction. ran over a 2" tack that went through the tread, got it patched by the shop that mounted my tires for $16, no leaks after.
Im not sure any place will repair a side wall puncture.
but i also thought you could purchase road hazard, I'm pretty positive mine had the option, or some of the auctions include it if its important to you

You beat me too it, got the e-mail 2 hrs ago. I'll be getting 4 tires for my 09 Accord Coupe. It had new tires when I bought it 3 years ago but they're a shit no-name brand & they're almost worn out after 30,000 miles.

Real old fashioned tire shops who are not out to f'n gouge you with their up sell and other crap who really know tires will!! They used to be in every town....now corporate America has ran almost all of them out of business. I found one by actually getting a phone book out and calling around. I had to drive a ways...but still cheaper than a new tire.
Over then phone they said..... well lets look at it....we might be able to fix it but have to see it. They look at it and say we can fix it...but it might leak after driving it...we are willing to give it a try if you are. They slap a huge truck tire patch on it....$16/2k later...still going strong.

Rather go to the small "mom & pop" tire shop. They can get any tire you want, mount, balance, install and disposal for great prices. They don't gouge you on the stems, weights...all included. They get to know you. You build a rapport with them and like reelamin said they can patch a tire others won't touch.

The local Discount Tire told me that next time the eBay deals pop up that they would beat the prices.

Yep, need to decide whether I'm gonna stick with the duratracs a bit longer and potentially get a new rear bumper or buy tires.
