He'll give me the pump for free instead of returning it. So my question is.... Does anyone have experience with using Aisin water pumps in their rigs? Seems like a waste to pass up a free water pump for my truck just because it doesn't have toyota part numbers on it.... then again, I see aftermarket pumps that come in leaking prematurely at work all the time.
Any info you guys could give would be great.
Thanks!

Aisin is the OEM provider for Toyota water pumps. What I like about the pumps is the nice gasket they use, which is a nice silicone infused metal gasket. Much better than paper used with tube silicone.
