Replaced rear sway bar bushings, already squeaking 5 days later

So I bought energy suspension poly bushings for the rear sway bar, loaded them with grease and slapped them back on....

Squeak went away for about 5 days or so, and then randomly it just came back. I know poly bushings have a tendency to squeak however after just packing them with grease they shouldn't be squeaking this soon right?

At this point I'm about to buy some OEM rubber bushings instead as the squeaking is getting really obnoxious lol

I fixed my rig's squeaks by installing a loud exhaust.

This happened with my fronts and I have pulled them off 3 times now to regrease them but being it keeps coming back after a week or two I just have up unfortunately. I still have them on and would be interested in others input on this. It isn't too bad yet that I can still stand it IF I have my windows up.

I do have some serious input though, although I don't know how useful it will be in this case...

When I bought my ES bushings/mounts, I got the greasable ones (with zerk fittings). Funny enough, they actually don't squeak (or at least, they haven't yet, I installed them last fall).

like dis:

Take it as a lesson learned. Poly bushings are autozone ricer crap.

I only buy poly bushings for steering racks. Every other bushing or body mount I buy is a rubber one.

I picked up front and rear poly swaybar bushings from Wheelers. I did not use the included grease on the bar bushings, I loaded them with Lucas X-Tra Heavy Duty grease. Has been a couple weeks with no squeaks. I coated the bar, inside and outside of the bushings and inside the clamp housing as well.

This probably isn't a good time to let you guys know I just got hired by Energy Suspension Lmao

For the record, I have their bushings front and rear and haven't had any squeaking issues whatsoever in many many years. What on earth are you doing to wash all the grease out? Driving through rivers?

Are you using the correct grease for polyurethane or just the stuff that happens to be lying around?

Red squeaks black doesn't.
Use anti seize not grease or use the grease energy suspension provides and don't be shy about applying it.

Not sure about the color. My lcas are black and washed out after a year. They are ridiculously loud.

But agree on the grease. Use silicone based water proof grease. Petroleum based will wash out and deteriates poly.

Superlube silicone is the best I've found.
