Hell of a spot to put a hole, right? Ha!
If it's gonna happen to someone, it's gonna happen to me. Some chunks broke off, as you can see. I got most of the broken pieces out, b/c they were still attached to silicone on the cylinder head. Just 1 little chunk fell. I guess my #1 concern is it causing an issue w/ the rotating assembly, mainly the crank bearings or something lower end related. I can actually see the little piece of aluminum, but of course I can't get it w/o removing the head. Which seems excessive... After I get this chore finished, I'm changing the oil anyway, so if I can flush it out the pan w/o any issues... That'd be ideal. May even rig up something w/ the shop vac ha!
