Softest ride possible?

I'm curious...

If I wanted the softest ride possible, considering I rarely go off road, what would my options be?

Soft ride like "Lincoln Town Car" soft.

:bugeye: Ideas?

LOL. Besides that option, I would just leave your 4Runner stock...my '02 was a really soft ride stock. Maybe try the airbag soft ride option. I think www.performanceproducts.com sells them.

Come on guys lets really try to help with his dream 4Runner.

Take your 4Runner Logo and for real authenticity the Toyota Logo front and back and take a Toyota streering wheel and place ithem on

If you really want to go all out add some running boards and a roof rack.

I don't you are going to be able get a soft ride out of the 4Runner. If you were to go with a soft suspension, it would probably just bottom out or be uncomfortable and bouncy. My dad's new Rodeo rides softer than the 4Runner but it is very bouncy and if you have two people sitting in the back seat, it bottoms out all the time.

You get a soft ride out of the 4th gen. Ive riden in an 03' with 22's and it rode as smooth as a car. So what makes it ride like that? Is it the shocks and springs its on, or is it the design? For instance what would happen if i replaced my shocks and springs with those from a 4th gen, how would my ride change? Would it change at all?

Reason im asking is i need new front coils and shocks and i just recently replaced the rear shocks and im close to purchasing some 22's and didnt want to base the crappy ride on the wheels and tires because its already a crappy ride from my dead front suspension.
