Got it early! Sellers camera was good about hiding this odd thing going on in the corner of the screen and some tiny cracks in the black plastic, but it shouldn't be that noticeable especially at night
Has no one really been able to hook up the tilt/inclinometer function working? Some say because they can't find a lead that it "doesn't exist" in a way, but that can't be; the fact that the unit is able to display the information means there HAS to be a way for it to receive that information in the first place, otherwise it would simply be for looks which doesn't seem up anyones alley, especially Toyota's. The way I see it is the connection for it is hidden somewhere in the main harness that everyone scraps, or it perhaps shares a lead usually? Shouldn't someone with a Surf have figured this out by now?

i don't think it has the inclinometer. IIRC, it has the compass, altimeter and barometer.
about the screen, it seems that the polarizing filter is starting to show it's age. there are some videos in youtube on how to replace the polarizing filter in the LED TVs. it should be similar. i think you also need to determine the orientation of the filter, not sure about it though

What's that little L90-45-0-45-90R doodad below the compass then?

that's part of the compass. L = left and R = right. it lights up when you're calibrating the compass

The one pictured above has no tilt/inclinometer. Even if it did, the sensors would be built-in for that...
