The adventure wagon 2.0 build

Started our second little camping/fun having rig, we had a little broncoII prior to this, it was offroad capable, but really lacked in the street manners and interior room department, sold it and got this '98 4x4 limited for $100 more than I got out of the b2.

Out with the old...

Don't think I have any pics of it 100% stock... started by lifting it with ome coils in the rear and king bolt in reservoir shocks, and started building a rear bumper.

Built these upper arms and found some used donahoe coilovers for the front lift.

Actually used it a couple times in this configuration, ran the mojave trail from baker to Laughlin, beautiful trail, I highly recommend it!

Built a simple front bumper, and put one of our Longtravel kits up front, with new king coilovers and Mcneil fenders

Not much else has changed yet. Sold the rear bumper to a guy, so now I'm building myself another one in my spare time...more to come.

Haha, well, this is my job, so it's going to be a little shop truck/advertising deal for us. I want to keep it relatively simple for camping/exploring type stuff. I won't say "overlanding" because I'm not that fancy. Lol

A few shots from San Felipe right before she got longtravel love it down there! Watching the sun rise over the ocean is cool for us west coast folks.

Rear bumper done, for now. Need to add a dust light still but wanted it painted to stop the rust.

I like that rear bumper. Built it, sold it and need to build another. I like the idea of being able to do that. Great job

Haven't had time to do anything but wash it and go take a "flex" poser picture.

Made a small roof rack last week.

Did a quick run to trona pinnacles last weekend to watch the meteor shower.

Nice how you just fab stuff up on a whim. I just managed to mount my roof rack, my first welding project (well second if you include the broken spare tire carrier I fixed). Pretty ugly with the flux core, but I couldn't make the mig work. Maybe because I was welding to electrical conduit but I ground off the galvanizing.

I usually have ideas in my head for a while, until I have the extra cash and time to do something. It's a blessing and a curse doing this for a living and out of your own backyard shop to boot. I don't really get to leave "work" but my commute is great.
