I think he's suggesting that you remove it altogether.
Also, part of the reason you have lean and your rear sway bar may not be completely "centered" anymore is likely due to your panhard bar.
When you add lift to the rear, your panhard bar actually causes your entire rear axle to shift slightly to one side.
Although a 3" lift shouldn't make THAT big of a difference.
