2-4" Lift Sway Bar End Link Options...

Hey bro's and broett's I made a video for a simple option for longer sway bar end links once you lifted your 3rd gen 4runner 2-4 inches I hope you enjoy the video.

Great information!
Thanks for putting in a video.

If you don't mind me saying tho, you could have summed it all up in less than 3 minutes. Not trying to sound like an ass...just constructive

Shoot no video needed just take off the sway bars all together. Gotta save weight somewhere and they don't do anything anyway.

Really? They dont do anything. I wonder why all cars pretty much ever made have them then? Over engineering? Must be an Apple thing.

yea man, because they definitely do something. Have you driven a 4runner without a rear sway bar? It's f*cking scary lol. Also, the sway bars are like 10 pounds?

I haven't had front or rear sways for like three years now.
Drove from Cali to va no sways, no issues.

I've never drive a 4runner stock suspension with no sways, but with a 3" lift its sketchy. Even with a stock set up I cant imagine theres no difference without sway bars. They're there for a reason. The first thing that comes to mind would be added stress on the coilovers. Just my opinion.

But have you considered the weigh savings?

I could understand the front only disconnected but not both. But again 861's can be a bit stiff, so much maybe sway bar in rear is not needed?

My brother has a 4th gen on Icon 650's and they sway like crazy compared to my 881's without a sway bar. Even connected he gets a bit of front lean around corners.

You definitely want to keep the front swaybars. I removed both, but had to put the front ones back on because of the sway during quick lane changes at high speeds. Scared the hell out of me.
