And some more. I also made a quick wiring diagram for my own reference, but I figured I would share that as well.

I started with the tank mounting; working on some front brackets and rear crossmember (crossmember taken virtually directly from the Ford frame design)

keep in mind that unlike Assburns, I'm working with a one inch BL (both for tank mounting and for flat belly in the future):

and since my crossmember interferes with conventional bumper mounting solutions, I had to go ahead and design an appropriate bumper to work with it:

(work in progress - can you tell I spend a lot of time looking at AssBurns' rig?):

Just a quick update/FYI - I sent my files for F150 fuel tank rear crossmember & front mounting brackets out for quoting today; these are a weld-on solution for the DIY-type, similar to my PCK stuff.

When the quote comes back I'll let you guys know the pricing, and if there is interest we'll get some of these made!

I'm interested for sure. I've been keeping it on the back burner till the gears/lockers/dual cases where done. Did you ever look further into duals?

Sweet. I'm so close to getting it in. If people would stop flaking on selling me a used t-case I'd be all set. I'm not flat bellying though. Just a standard install then I'll fab up a mount for the rear case. If I do the tank swap I still will most likely leave my stock tank. For me it would be more fuel to go further.

Man, a 1" body lift makes a flat belly soooo doable...

LMAO.

In my trails thread I've stated 10 times that I do not want a body lift. It's easier to do duals with, it's easier to clearance 37's with, it's easier to flat belly. You get the idea. I never take the easy way. lol
