What am I missing here?
I ran across this 4runner on instagram and it has the best looking front end I've seen. All I can see that he's done (besides the led lights) is clear corners/signals and a color-matched grille. Is there something else I'm missing or is this just a sexy combo? I've seen millennium silver sport models which have the color-matched grille and it looks nothing special. I also don't think clear corners are much of an improvement but I just love how the front end of this looks. What am I missing?

Fog lights on, and he has the tow-strap cover that most of us are missing

I see LED bar under headlights, did you move TS to there? Make TS into driving/fog lights?

VERY few people keep their paint in that condition, and it makes a world of difference.
Most people run a front plate, and that also makes a huge difference in how clean the front end looks.
A color matched '99-02 front end with no plate and perfect paint looks INCREDIBLE- regardless of color.

Also has clear turn signals. I personally think the led strips make it look cheap, but to each their own!

That LED execution, agreed. My stock turn signal lenses are clear too.
Also, if you look closely at the driver's side bumper and flare, something is off - fit-wise

Gosh, that makes my front end look like crap. Mine is all sand blasted from spending most of its life in the PNW.
BRB. Starting a gofundme page to respray my front end.

Agreed. The lack of a front plate really cleans up the look.

Kinda. It has an internal amber lens to make it light up amber with a clear bulb. The one pictured has completely clear lenses with no internal amber lens.

Dang if it's really just the paint being in good shape I'm doing the color-matched grille and clear corners to mine. My paint's near flawless as insurance paid for a new bumper and repainted the whole front clip earlier this year after being backed into by a friend. THis truck looks so freaking clean!
