Adjusting Kings

Hey everyone, when I installed my Kings, was I the only one who couldn't adjust them? I tried adjusting them in the mount, and out, with and without spring compressors. I knew something was wrong when the adjustment tool bent and one of the adjustment holes got damaged. I made sure to loosen the allen bolts. But when I twisted, the shock body just twisted. What am I missing?

Did you undo the UCA to make it more accessible? I haven't ever had any issues with adjusting my CO's and I actually had to machine a tool to the exact size of the adjustment collar holes for mine! Did the shock body just twist at the heim joints upper and lower? I'm not sure on how clear what you're describing is! Definitely want to help.
