For those of you with ome lifts

I'm ordering my ome soon but i'm not sure what to go with. The heavy duty, medium duty and light duty options are my concern. I'm set on heavy duty on the front since i'm also adding the winch and arb bumper. But i'm not sure what to go with in the back. Im not sure if i should get medium or heavy duty coils. Anyone with first hand experience and advice?

inless you are towing, id suggest the 890s.

891s feel good with weight, which I have a lot of in the back with subs, hi lift, camera equip and what not. otherwise it may ride harsh

front end i would actually go with tundra coils and ome shocks or trd shocks with a top out. I have a tjm but not a winch yet. these coils ride good

things to get: rear bumper and tire carrier, 35s, heated seats, new roof rack, finish custom turbo setup.

i do not mind a firm ride. In fact, I don't like a soft ride. I used to have an f250 and i loved the firm ride. I'm looking on wheelersoffroad.com at the ome lifts and they have the 891 and 892. I was thinking of going with the 892s but i'm worried the back will be much stiffer than the front, resulting in a unbalanced feel. So i'm leaning towards the 891s.
neliconcept why do you say to get the tundra coils for the front?

they'll give you more lift then 881s. can handle a winch and bumper and dont ride soft but feel great.

You really need to search over at yotatech.com lot more answers over there

from what i gather at yotatech, tundra springs give maybe a quarter to half inch more lift. Thats less than half the width of my thumb. Not much if you ask me. It might just be easier to order a complete ome lift and not have to go different places for parts.
so will 285/75s rub with an ome lift?

just a lil curious here. In your first pic, i'm not seeing any front drive shaft. Am I seeing that right?
by the way, looks great.

you mean CV, yeah its not there, building it into an expedition vehicle, right now its the most capable 2wd ever, but im doing a conversion which will entail new front end with front air locker (already have rear locker), crawler box with a 23 spline case, cryoed gears and fully built driveshafts and tundra cvs

a buddy of mine had a lifted 2wd. He put mud terrains on the front like you did. I think that's hilarious. as far as most capable 2wd ever, sure, ok, maybe it is. but it's still 2wd

Am working to find a good swing away tire carrier/bumber combo for the rear, and some rubber covered push bars like the cops got for the front, and lastly some "perimeter" lights for mounting on the roof rack cross bars.
i hear ya on the bumper/tire carrier, something I want bad but need to wait until my truck is fully built.

I used my yakima crossbar for light mounts but it isnt all that sturdy, I know they do make light bars for the top but i cant remember what stores had them
