Nice! Those circles are nice, you have the backlash dialed in on that machine.

I agree, they came out really nice. Now I'm looking forward to more; I saw in this thread the demand for the mud flaps so I started modeling one. I hate the gap after removing my running boards. + I saw you already had recently printed some demos out. How did they turn out/fit? I was thinking the same but a tad lower and filling them with maybe epoxy/fiberglass for strength. Thoughts?

I still haven't had time to bolt them on and see if I need to modify the file at all, but my first impression is that are good to go.
I had a long discussion with a coworker yesterday about how to finish them. He mentioned coating it with plastic epoxy and I think Smooth-On makes a product for coating 3D printed parts, but I'm not sure how durable /flexible it it. Eventually, our conversation evolved into different ways I could produce small batches of these (3D printing or CNCing a mold and casting with urethane; making a mold from the 3D printed part and casting with urethane; using one of our high-quality but cheap chinese suppliers to urethane mold batches of parts based on my CAD files). Even if there is the demand, I just don't know if I want to invest that much time/money into this project, just to make a small profit (definitely not enough to cover my time, if I'm looking at it that way).
My other idea is to just release the CAD files for free and have an option to send me a donation to help cover my expenses. I also want to provide people with a list of options for where they can get the file printed.
What printer are you using? What's the max build volume?

OP, I would love to buy a set of mud flaps from you. Of course I realize that your time is worth $$$ and you've already spent some cash to scan the original plus your time to design them. I would throw some money in the hat if you would release the CAD files. I believe I could get the mechanical guys at work to print out a set for me... Maybe if I ask nice and offer booze?

Adding my name to the list of people who would buy an SR5 front flair cap - looks great!

If you got the wire kit, curious how this turned-out.
With two little ones, and our first trip after the New Year, this looks to be quite desirable...

More shipped out today. I sent my first package to Canada and it cost $9.50, not the $3 I expected. Sorry Canadians, but your shipping rate is going up! I updated the first post.

Hey, sorry if this was answered but I couldn’t find it and I’m sitting at my desk at work trying to not get noticed lol
Does this fit all ash trays? I do not have the heater option on my 01 but I would really like one of these.
Thank you for the info
