Do Limited painted fender flares fit on SR5?

Do Limited painted fender flares fit on SR5? I wanted to get some painted ones because my cheap plastic SR5 flares are trashed and cracked. Do you also have to make any modifications for them to fit like drilling, etc.?

Limited flares are held on by clips that are mounted in holes in the body panels. (You would have to drill a whole lot of holes)

I plan to do that. There are some common holes that mount underside the fender. Other than that I will use 3M double sided VHB tape, should work well, that stuff is strong.

Have you found a set yet? I would probably do this exact same thing if I could find a nice set.

Do Limited painted fender flares fit on SR5?

Really depends on what year you are talking about. All the Limited flares are incorporated into the body cladding, and would look silly without the cladding.
The '00-'02 SR5 flares are big like the Limited, but have no body cladding.
Both styles of big flares attach via clips that use square holes in the fenders and quarters.

My point is- "painted Limited flares" would be a direct bolt-on if your SR5 is a '00 or newer.

I got a set for $100 from a front end collision. The front arches are bent so I will need to bend back into shape with heat and clean them up, then paint. Sometimes you can get a good deal, other times they want ridiculous money for them, you could buy a whole parts truck for what some people want for their fenders. Mine included the body piece down below and running boards. I won't put on the running boards but by chance they are exactly the same as my mom's from her 4runner which are beat up.
