Yeah, I know most of it fits horrible but this stuff seems a little worse then the last time I worked with fiberglass. But being a trail toy I wasn’t to worried and I only took maybe an hour to throw on the glass and hood. It coulda been better if I took more time.

Upgraded links will just make things stronger and less likely to bind or break. You can buy/make adjustable ones to dial in your pinion angle and axle position. They really won't be a noticeable performance difference, but they will last longer to abuse.
Where are you headed for New Years? I'll be out in Ocotillo Wells and Truckhaven area. It would be cool to check out your new suspension and have a beer or something.

I’ll be out in ocotillo wells. Probably cruise around the state park side a little but will mostly be in the south side of the 78. Doing a run to Mexico through plaster city Saturday and will go shooting at the railroad tracks Saturday too hopefully.

Is this the same kit that was show cased on the Dirt Everyday episode for the Camburg stock class desert racer? They had a new Taco that they ( Camburg) fully gutted and prepped for a stock class in a SCORE series race recently. The heart of the front suspension was a long travel setup w/ King shocks.

I think that was the mint400 last year with jay Leno. It’s not the same generation if it was.
I’m not 100% sure though . Call Camburg and talk to Scott about the kit on Double G’s 4Runner if you’re interested in anything.

That is a 3rd gen trd pro taco, mostly stock front suspension components with fox coil-overs and bypasses.

How is the fitment on the hood? Been thinking about picking up a sport hood from them.

Add some more parts to the growing parts pile.
Camburg 65.5” full floater 9” housing to be mates to a pair of deaver leaf springs and an arb locker 35 spline differential eventually.

Good luck! I ran into issues with 12" shackles over the frame hitting the rear body mounts. Love to see how it goes!

Thanks, will have to keep that in mind. Although I did recently see a 3rd gen with the leafs mounted outside the frame. I was pretty set on doing them under the frame like the Tacoma but might change if needed.

Could always do the 9" shackles under the frame.
