Torque wrench

Tim mentioned these CDI torque wrenches were made by snap on. With the clip it coupon it is 139.50 and although not as cheap as the harbor freight variety, cheap enough for me to give it a try for occasional weekend shade tree use. The coupon tripped my trigger. 30 to 250 ft pounds.

I've been a fan of Precision Instruments for a while now. Here's one, for about 150 bucks:

https://www.amazon.com/Precision-Ins...N8T63DC015162S

These are well noted for long-term reliability to be within 3-4%, not just for so many uses, but like forever. No need to turn-down afterwards, which I like...

No need to untorque these make them great for flat rate work. If one wants their torque wrench to last for years, always untorque them if need be. I took my 03 SO torque wrench to be calibrated last year, guy said it was still within factory spec fourteen years later.....
