2000 Limited Trans Fluid Leak - what is this...

I seem to have a leak coming from the part on the left (the image has been turned 90 degrees counter clockwise for some reason) that has no wires going to it. What is it and how do I get parts for it?

You need a oring from the dealer. It is an access port. Simply unscrew bolt and pull out plastic cap to replace oring. Part# 90301-18004

Thank you! I sure hope that $2 o-ring is the fix!

By the way, where did you find that image? All of the sites I have searched do not show any transmission detail.

I just replaced mine recently, I paid about $7 at stealership! Be sure to lube oring and bore with trans fluid and slowly and firmly push cap in to prevent damage to oring. It will be a tight fit.

www.toyodiy.com has good diagrams with pictures and reverse part number lookup (to see if any other vehicles use the same part). You have to make an account to see the pictures, save vehicles, etc.

And it was! $2 and one 12mm bolt. I wish they were all that easy.
