5 speed swap wiring issue

Okay, I got a 97 4runner 3.4 4x4 auto. I did the 5 speed swap and repinned my ecu to a 97 manual ecu. I jumped the park/neutral wire. When I did that, engine would crank and turn over but would not start. Repinned it back to auto ecu. Engine will start and turn on but die after 2 seconds. Showing these codes, aside from the shift codes. Any idea to look?

Also need to add. When I was putting my start back on. Forgot I had power and touched metal somewhere and got a spark. Could that have possibly fried a wire?

I would check the maf sensor connections first as both the codes and the way it starts both point in that direction. Also check the STA (B-W) and malfunction indicator lamp (V) as both of those wires, like the starting circuit run differently from the auto to manual. I used the engine wiring harness from the manual 4runner mostly because it would cut down on the amount of wiring mistake I could make

Considering you shorted something and you now have MAF and TPS codes I would check all of your fuses. You might have killed the reference voltages to both, which explains the start stall and no start. Transmission codes are there because all of the solenoids are gone.

I also agree that the re-pin route is messy, Also went the full manual harness and PCM route, Its plug and play and you wont have a CEL or hacked harness.

Above is all good advice. Also check the engine ground by diagnostic plug (aka sensor ground) as a loose bolt there can do this.
