Charcoal Canister versions by year?

I've read like three different things on here about what year has what charcoal canisters. I have an '01 and am trying to find a cheap replacement out of a parted vehicle, but don't know if only the 01 and 02 had the one in the back, or if it also includes '99 and or '00?

FWIW my '99 has the front canister, in the same place as my wife's 96.

She actually swapped them a few weeks back troubleshooting stuff on her car, my '99 seems perfectly happy with it. Although it did pick up the 'mooing' habit. Lol.

Not sure about the '00, but I would *guess* that it's like the 99.

Yeah it's looking like the 01-02 are different from 96-00
