FWIW, the timing belt on this thing was one of the easiest repairs I've done on any car. You should really try it yourself, esp if you already have a garage. And you'd get to save a few hundred bucks too! I think the dealer wants 800-1200 for a TB replacement (with WP and Tstat). I did it all, including any special parts for 300. While I was there, I also replaced the original Radiator, all the hoses and belts and I was still significantly ahead.
The only special tool I had to get was a tensioner thing, which was cheap, made the job super easy!
