Limited flares on to SR5 fender?

I need a passenger fender for my black 97 limited. I've found a good black fender with an SR5 flare. Will my flare bolt right up to this fender? Most fenders I see are base with no Holes.

No. The limiteds have the wider flares as well as the lower body cladding. The flares taper a bit where the cladding meets up with them.

I think what he’s asking is if he buys the fender with the SR5 “skinny” flare, can he remove the SR5 flare and install his limited flare. Basically, is the fender itself capable of mounting the limited flare or if there are missing holes in the sheet metal that the limited flare needs to utilize to mount, etc. I personally haven’t looked at a limited flare in person so I am not sure.

You are right. I definitely read that the wrong way.

You'll need to make holes to accommodate the limited flares. Or, you can remove the tabs/clips on your limited flare and mount/glue it with clear silicone to the fender. The bottom side 10 mm bolts will bolt right on regardless of SR5 skinny flares or wide limited flares. I've used clear silicone to mount fender flares on a Hilux pickup and it is holding really well.

Thank you, that's exactly what I wanted to know. Looks like I'll just have to spray a new fender.

Depends.
What year SR5?
If it's a '00- or newer- SR5, the fender already has holes for the Limited flares...

Those black flares have no holes up on the outside of the fender. They bolt on only inside the fender well.

The front Limited flares will bolt on a normal fender without holes drilled in the side. They bolt on underneath in the existing holes for the SR5 flares. You might need some double sided tape to keep the upper edge snug.
