Angry crankshaft angle sensor ??

I just had a shop do my timing belt, water pump, intake manifold and valve cover gaskets and he replaced what he called the crankshaft angle sensor. boy have I been taken for a ride down the scam artist road. Just a few days after the work was done The motor now has one or more spun con rod bearings and water in the oil.

Sorry to hear what has happened. He may be referring to a crank sensor. Why they have to replace it?

For the work they did, I don't find any oil-coolant related work, so even if they did something incorrect, water cannot get into oil.

How long you left the truck with them? did they switch the engine with another?
With stories like this, I am more and more hesitant to leave my trucks at a shop.
