Best Wiper Blades?
Always a tough call, but which brands/models of wiper blades do you all like? I realize it's different for just rain or snow but what's everyone swear by?

I had a set of Bosch Icons that lasted nearly 6 years in central texas heat, every other brand at walmart lasted only 2 yrs or less.

Usually have good luck with the newer beam type blades.

I use Bosch Icons too. Very happy with how long they last and how well they work.

I am on my fourth year with Bosch icons and they are still working great. Not much streaking even when there is just a mist on the windshield.

How are you guys getting so much out of the icons? I'm lucky if I can get a year out of a set.
They are the best I've found though

Stock inserts with proper windshield treatment. not rain x. either ceramic coating or aquapel.
It rains a lot in the northwest and this works for me. Stock blades contour to the windshield better than any aftermarket blade I've used but then again i don't use my blades often because my windshield has been treated.

Rain X Latitude, usually getting three years.
I loved Bosch but the problem I began having with the Icons is that they were too curved and placing too much pressure of the blade on the windshield, thus dragging themselves across it when damp. In rain though, quite good.

Personal experience is that the OEM inserts wipe the best when new, but the Bosch Icons come close and last much longer (I usually keep them ~3 years).

If you go with Bosch ICON, be sure to pair it with some Rain-X Water Repellent! The rain will glide right off. Also the Bosch website lists the compatible wiper as 16" but I swear they should be 17" like OEM. There's enough space on my windshield for a size up...

NWB: Nippon Wiper Blade
This is the OEM toyota blade. If you still have the OEM wiper blade in the rear, checkout NWB embossed on it.
Hard to find but I was lucky to get some from eBay. Not pricey either.
