Can't wait to see more posts.
Very sweet of you, thanks for the support

I'm thinking of starting my own thread too, not because I think I have anything earth shattering to show off, but because I've had it up to here with my image links disappearing and then having to look all over the board to fix them. This way they'll all be in one thread .
You keeping that truck of yours or nah?

I honestly don't know yet, the DMV system is beyond my comprehension. So I'm either keeping it, parting it out, or trying to get someone in a "no title" state to "buy" it from me then "buy" it back from them. Fun times.

Installed LC 8-wraps

Pulled out my OME 890s and installed LC 8-wraps @ 263,812K and gained 2" in the rear.
With a full tank of gas and no humans, I measure 40" to the middle of each rear fender flare. Previously it was 38" driver/38-1/2" passenger.

The 890s were 17" and 17-1/2" uncompressed, the passenger side coil was taller; installer error?
The LC coils are 19" and 19-1/2" uncompressed and I installed the taller one on the driver side.

The pic below is with a full tank of gas and light load in the rear

Net result of the LC coil swap: too tall in the rear for my taste, but I'll drive it for a while and see if they settle down some.

Now the good news
Looks like the driver's side rear axle seal is leaking, so I cleaned that up some and will add axle seals and bearings to the list o' future maintenance.

If they are used springs I wouldn't expect any settling.

If you end up pulling them I have some ToyTec 9602 3" springs in the garage. I just pulled the numbers and they are 18" and 18 1/2" respectively. That should put you more where you want to be. They're not going anywhere so let me know.

That's quite a bit of rake. Still looks good! I can just imagine 8.75 wraps.

A new rear bumper would fix things.

These coils are not progressive so I would imagine that will just make them sag, but i would love to relocate that spare tire someday

I just acquired all the tools/press for this bearing job. Look me up when you are ready, I'm in Santa Clarita.

Good to see you start a build thread. I'm about to swap TO the 890 rear springs myself. The 906 springs I have now are too low (when loaded) for me.

Did you get anything figured out with the RPM issue?

Where did you get the LC coils? How's the ride compared to the 890's? I have the OME 890's now along with RTT on top and get a lot of sag when loaded up on long trips. Unloaded, it sits fine.
Thanks...

906 are 2 inch lift, 890 are 3" lift
891 are 3" lift and can accommodate 100# over stock before sagging

My 890s have about 100K on them and sagged about 1"

All three of these are progressive springs, the LCs are not and will sag and rebound consistently across the load range

RPM issue is random and intermittent, so far today it has been fine but it stalled in parking lot on Saturday

Maybe it's an ignitor issue *head scratch emoji*

I picked up the LC coils from another forum member who got them loose with his truck when he bought it, he had not run them and mileage is unknown, but they looked pretty good (not scratched or rusted and minimal paint mark chipping)

They have not been on the truck long enough for me to have an opinion about ride quality.

Have you considered 891s?
