Welp, these were the shallowest centercaps i could find that wouldnt cost waaay too much but i really hate how far they stick out.

Soooo i decided to improvise and get the 3d printer sorted

muuuuuch better

now to wait for 3 more to print at 22 hours a piece

Wheels and centre caps look wicked! I just ordered 2x pairs of 3-piece JDM wheels (couldn't decide) from the motherland. Going to rebuilding them both and then pick a set to run on the truck. I am sure I will need to make a center cap similar to you. I just hate the ones that stick out so far!

This truck just keeps getting better and better.

Thank you! i couldnt stand to have the wheels looking so good just to ruin it with those silly ass centercaps. I looked at a couple sets of splits but couldnt pull the trigger then these popped up so cheap i couldnt ignore it. Maybe someday but for now i'll just have the 3-piece on my bmw and my cheapos on this.
What wheels did you order?

What wheels did you order?
When I said pairs, I meant sets. haha Not sure how much good two different pairs of wheels would be. lol I ordered some ZZYZX Raguna's and some Bridgestone Berg's. Both sets are 16's. The Raguna's are a nicer fitment but the Berg's are a set of 5x wheels. I'll be selling whatever set I decide not to run.

What BMW do you have?!

hmmm thats tough, I love the Bergs but the Ragunas do look amazing with lips. Either way i dont think you can go wrong.

I have an e39 540 back in texas that im actually arranging to ship here because its easier and barely more expensive than flying out and driving it back.

Untitled

update: just booked the transport to bring it here, luckily the cash i got back for the 17s and tires covered bringing the bmw here

Joelzy's 96 5SPD(daily) & 5VZ block-up rebuild

Had a little sound i hadnt noticed before the other day(wife claimed she couldnt hear it) but it was bothering me enough to check it out. It was only when the passenger front suspension compressed so i started poking around and found that the bolt holding the brake hardline in place was missing and the line was riding against the UPC hinge. Not a big deal until i realized it had been doing it for a while.

Luckily i was able to make a pic-a-part run and grab a replacement, plus a rubber swingarm (damper?) for about 6 bucks total.

It has a little wiggle over bigger bumps and this helps a lot

Welp, had a little time so i decided to take on the inclinometer install.

Pulled it apart to make sure everything was free and clean

Didnt want the blue pod up on the dash with my tan interior so decided the lower din spot was best

After cutting up the case, i was able to attach it to the stereo cage luckily

Scary cutting this up but i had to remind myself that it was 40 bucks 2 years ago

Its tight and i might open the bezel up a tad eventually but for now it looks pretty legit

Nice work! I have one too and am debating where to put it. I love the OEM radio and there is no way I’m changing it haha. I’m trying to take a molding of the dash to make it sit flush right above the clock. I’ll make sure to post about it when it works out.

that'd be awesome, i have the older dash and didnt think i could pull something like that off with the size of this face. considered lower but this just seemed right
