Need Idea for Fishing Rod Holder - Trunk

Hey everyone!

I bought these fishing rod holders off Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/Booms-Fishing...ing+rod+holder

The problem is I can use the handling in the backseat for one strap, but the second strap has nowhere to attach to in the trunk. Anybody have a good idea what I can use an an anchor that will attach solidly in the trunk roof?

Here is a picture of our trunks with circles on where I think I would need an anchor mounted.

Thanks for your help in advanced!

Run it down the side. I mounted a Quick-First in the back of my 4runner to clamp around the handle, and rest the other end on the hanger clip on the oh shit handle.

I do like this idea, and I would do this if I didn't have more than 1 rod. I need a solution for 4+ rods unfortunately because I'm an addict

Here's what I did if anyone is interested. I bought d ring anchors from harbor freight and bolted it right to the rear ceiling trim. Love it so far!
