I need to update my sig. Our old shop in Forest Falls is long gone. We way outgrew that shop. We had to split the crew in 1/2. 1/2 went to our new machine shop in Santa Clarita and the rest went to our new 3D print shop in Kentucky.

We were able to make our final test fit today and it was perfect. Our machinist is currently cutting a batch of 100 right now. Hopefully that will be enough to get us through the holidays because we wont have time to make another batch until after Valentines in late February. We have too many other projects we committed to. The prototype in this pic is already over with our painter. Should have it back in a few days to take final installed product pics to show you guys.

Good to see you got what you needed. So how can I order a complete set (front and rear)?

I should have the rear available on our website in about a week. I will post up again once they are available.

Got the first batch of rear TEQ badges back from the painter this morning and they look great. Right now I need a local volunteer with a clean 3rd gen. The local one we used for test fitting is out of town for the next 10 days and I don't want to wait on him for that long. Anyone in the SoCal area have a clean 3rd Gen we can use for pics for the website? We will blur out your license plate if it's visible in any pics. I know a couple of you already volunteered but I wasn't sure if your rig was clean or looked like a swamp monster.

I'm in Dallas, but I already have your front badge. I would love to be the Guinea pig, but if not, I definitely want one of the 1st run if the test fit goes well!

LOL - Swamp Monsters like jewelry, too but I understand your vision.

I know that some people like the 'every letter in the logo' Toyota emblem, but I've never been real fond of it. Will be watching you site....

I got a local @Spiker Engineering who volunteered to help with pics. A badge is going in the mail to him as I type. Our afternoon mail is heading out the door right now. He should have it in the next day or two. Once we get those pics back then we will set up the website for ordering. We are shooting to have the rear TEQ badge available this weekend on our website, ebay, and etsy.

Glad to be the guinea pig! The fit is indeed spot on, it follows the profile of the hatch perfectly, and has a nice recess for the double sided tape such that the badge ends up sitting flush with the hatch, not sticking up by the thickness of the tape. I highly recommend this for anyone interested.

Dumb question - is the original held in place with badge adhesive? If so, what did you find worked to get it off cleanly?

Also, if anyone's interested, I bought an old school (LC?) '4 Wheel Drive' badge from @bhicks that is still sticking strong on another vehicle that I sold a couple years ago. Very strong adhesive bond....

There is adhesive foam as well as two guide pins on the badge, and two holes in the hatch with some plastic inserts. I was easily able to pry the badge off with a plastic trim tool, and pull out the plastic inserts with small needle nose pliers. Then I scraped off the residual foam on the hatch with the plastic trim tool, and hit it with IPA before installing the TEQ badge.

Had a chance to sit down at the computer this evening and get the new rear TEQ badge up on our website. Here is the link to the specific product and below is the link to the 3rd Gen product line.
3rd Gen 4Runner (96-02) Rear Hatch TEQ Badge – BH3D Printing
3rd Gen 4Runner – BH3D Printing

Here is the link to Etsy. Be aware Etsy is a bit more due to seller fees we can't avoid.
