Jade Runner for real?
Found this on Facebook Marketplace here by me. I don't speak spanish so that's a complication but it appears to be a Jade Runner with 170K for $1600.
I'd be curious to know what the rest of it looks like but even if nothing else maybe for parts.

Does seem to be Too cheap to believe.
I don't have a FB account anymore but the ad says "New Tires, just passed inspection, no CELs on and call if interested".
Luck.

It's either a scam or a complete rust bucket. There's no way a running/driving 4Runner with under 200k would go for $1,600.

There was a guy here in Pittsburgh last year that was selling his 99 4runner with 124k miles on it for $1800. He got an overwhelming amount of emails from buyers who had cash for it NOW. I spoke with him for a little bit and asked why he was selling it so cheap and he said he was not familiar with their selling price. He took the first few contacts and allowed them to have a bidding war instead of taking it down and adjusting the price.
Some folks just do not research before selling.

Yep, I had a mint condition blue 4Runner with sub 200k show up on Craigslist for $3,000. I contacted her hours after it was posted and it had already sold. She had no idea it was worth at least $6k.

Just don't send anyone any money. Buy the car in person and only hand over money if the title is good (and... matches the car, lol).
I would assume the story will get 'interesting' when you ask to see the car. I.e. It's in another town, I'm going overseas and can't meet you, I promise a full refund if it isn't perfect. How about you just send a small deposit to hold it for you until you come see it this weekend. Etc, etc, etc.

Which is why I said or a rust bucket.
Personally, I wouldn't pay over $2k for any rig from one of the know rusty areas. Too much of a pain to deal with.
And $3k I could totally see. I guess I'm comparing it to my own recent experience which was selling my gf's old POS 1997 Subaru. It had 230k and the interior and exterior paint were rough, but the engine was solid. Was able to get $1,600 for that.

Not rare really but the jade is just the right color green. My first truck, a blazer, was green and tan.
