Only '01-'02 have TRAC, previous years only had 3-channel ABS with no other aids (and sometimes no ABS on 4-cylinder models). A '99 ECU is also not compatible with your throttle body and cruise control setup.

Okay, so after some more digging it looked like I could just get rid of the Abs VSC Trac computer and just live without ABS, however when I unplugged the computer my brakes were stiff as a rock.
Is there a way to delete ABS without the pedal becoming stiff?

If not are you familiar with relocating the ABS/VSC/Trac computer? I heard it’s possible to cut off the mounting brackets and tuck it under the drivers side dash to fit the clutch in, but I’m not sure where or how to secure it.

I’d prefer to be rid of the computer but if it’s necessary to run the brakes even without abs then I guess I’ll be finding a new home for it.

Thanks
