Well I finally installed everything, and I mean everything..

Moving and a few other things got in the way during the build, so it was quite delayed.

Here is a teaser before I get the tires mounted, and an alignment.

Very good pictures throughout the whole job. I wish I documented stuff better as I did it just for my own memory at least.

Cool

Well a good bit has changed since my last post. I’ll try to fill in as much as I can, but I’m sure I will miss some things.

-E brake cable.
-OEM radiator/ coolant.
-Timing belt, water pump, thermostat.
-The beck arnley lower ball joints were garbage after 10,000 miles, so I went OEM. (Lesson learned)
-The lower control arm bushings also went bad in a short time, so they were also replaced with OEM.
-Optima red top battery
-Working clock
-TJM T15 bumper
-All Pro sliders with kick out
-Prinsu full length roof rack
-FJ80 wheels (better offset)
-Factory Elocker 4.10 gear ratio

No pics till I get home to my laptop, but I thought I’d update anyone who is still interested in this build.

I’m now at 204,000 miles on the odometer.

I'm still following you, man!

What bushing brand went bad? I've got some Whiteline Poly LCA bushings ready to go in mine, so I'm wondering if that's what you ran?

They were beck arnley I believe. They were new LCA with new bushings. White line is good though, you will be fine with those.

Well after my OME shocks blew up front, it was time to upgrade. I went with Bilstein 6112's for a tundra, paired with OME 2980 springs in the rear & 5100's.
Also got some spidertrax spacers, and 255/85/16 KM3's. Got some goodies on the roof now too. More to come is Elocker install, LCA lockout cam bolts, OEM steering rack, and more.
Stay tuned!

How are you liking the 255/85/16 KM3? I am running that size in KM2 right now, and debating what my next set will be. Either KM3 or Cooper ST MAXX in that size.

Are the KM3s pretty quiet for a MT?

They are pretty quiet. I am coming from an all terrain, and there is not much more noise. I am very happy with their performance off-road.

More things done on the checklist.

I got a scan gauge II, and noticed my trans temp getting up to 240-250 degrees on highway hill climbs.

So I installed a B&M trans cooler in series with my radiator. (Haven't driven since installation)

P.S. 4th gen OEM floor mats work great in 3rd gens. (Front & Rear)
