4runner officially retired as DD.

WelI have parked the 4runner. Pulled insurane for 1st time since I bought it many years ago at 180k miles. It now has over 290k and has done me well. Has left me stranded only one time when the lower ball joint failed. Best of all never failed me on the trail with major abuse. Its gotten to the point its showings its age and can no longer drive daily and be trust worthy and safe. Needs a good amount of work. Its going to become an offroad only rig.

In comes 3+ months of patience and another 3 months of just deciding on what new route I wanted to go with a daily driver. I've mainly had turbo mitsubishi's my entire life. I wanted something quick but new and would fit the family.

So I decided domestic v8, 4 door, manual, rwd and luxury was what I wanted.

So in comes the 4 door Zo6.

2004 Cadillac CTS-V (2509 units built)
5.7L v8 LS6 Corvette Zo6 (400hp, 395tq)
Tremec 6-speed manual

The car had 73395 miles when I bought it. Two owners. 1st owner was older man that had it for the 1st 70k miles. He passed away and I got it from second owner that had it for 2 years and put only 2k on it.

Its 99% perfect. Looks like it did when it was on the show room floor. Got her for $14500 and original asking was $17000. MSRP with only option (sunroof) $53000.

Will get some more pics soon. 2nd two pics are original owners 9 second turbo Chevy pickup and dads 8 second 69 Camaro. Both beautiful and turbo. Truck is CO record holder for fastest 4x4 stock block truck.

That CTS-V is a hell of a car with a biatch of a back seat. That’s the only thing I found wrong with it

Nice, the V is the only new Caddy I would own because of the LS.

I've had 7 Caddy's but all of them were the good old reliable ones from the 60's & 70's. 425's, 472's & 500's... Caddy power! Good luck with her!

Really? The owner actually told me the back seats had never even been sat in since 2004.

And already the 12 and 9 year olds have told me they are way more comfortable and have way more leg space than both my 3rd gen and wife's 2nd gen double cab Tacoma. I actually fit back there at 6ft tall and 215lbs.

I didn’t really fit back there that well even with the front passenger seat moved up further(while still being comfortable for the person in front). I’m similar in specs but have longer legs than most. I don’t even try to sit in the back of a 4Runner. I’ve only been comfortable in the back seats of suburbans with captains chairs and my 08 Buick Lucerne so pretty much just full-size trucks and sedans

I agree but really just want two teenage girls to be comfortable. At 16 they will have three own cars.

Nice! I'm tossing around the idea of retiring mine as a DD too. Love the Caddi. I hear those things are beasts.

Any better pics of the truck and Camaro?

Sorry to hear that Jay; with mine needing a torque converter at the moment it is sitting until probably December at the earliest. Good luck with the new ride. With the whole nation Crossover and truck crazy, cars can be had for a good price at the moment.

Shit is crazy. Ford canceling all cars other than mustang. Never thought that would happen.

Haha. Wife said same thing when she saw pic. Those go away after startup babe.

Horn don't work. One small trim on driver door handle is loose. Only issues I have found so far.
