Ah nice, what do you need the Dremel for? Dust shield? I think I got them so quick cause I ordered right when the sale went up.

Yes. Trimming looks to be needed in three spots. Check-out Tim's TBU video. I'm aiming follow Spktyr's dust shield approach here:

Awesome thanks for linking that, seems easy enough. I’ve watched all of his videos but I feel like I always miss a few things until I’m actually doing the mod and watching step by step lol.

Having the laptop when wrenching is like another tool in some respects...

With those pictorial instructions, I might even start trimming the dust shields before the calipers arrive.

Holy cow man.. This build is moving along at a good clip! Nice selection of mods so far too. How are you liking the new KM3s? I feel your pain on the AOR front bumper wait. Out of all the different vendors that I have done business with, they took the longest with pretty much zero communication on their end. I DO like their front bumper though. Keep up the good work man.

The km3’s are one of my favorite things I’ve done so far, they are surprisingly really quiet even at 80 mph. Will definitely get another set of them when these wear out. Yea I agree I really like their front bumpers a lot and I knew it was going to be a long wait, it would be nice to get an updated eta though lol.. on week 11 now.. Thanks man!!

Got the Sonoran steel rear body mount kit in the mail today..

Thanks @infamousRNR for the matching spare rim for my tire carrier!!

Got my SRQ turn signals, they look awesome. Can’t wait to install these with my AOR bumper..

Got a few more things in the mail, I had the co2 cylinder already from my soda stream so I repurposed it to refill tires. Starter rebuild kit (eBay), alternator brushes (oem), smittybilt tree strap 4”x8’, smittybilt d ring, TRD fob case (AJT)

Got myself a legit Toyota key fob, the alarm button on my fake fob was super sensitive and half the time when I pressed unlock the alarm would go off..

Last night @infamousRNR helped me a ton. We got the rear bumper & trailer hitch removed, installed the Sonoran steel rear body mounts, test fitted the bumper, marked the holes to be drilled, and programmed that fob! Very productive night.

Today I got this in the mail, super stoaked. The paint is supposed to be here on the 18th-20th so it’s going to be a bit of a process.

Damn, that's a productive night, and a weekday one too! Sounds like you'll be doing some painting over the holidays. Are you going to have the garage warm when you paint? Not that we are in a cold climate, but I've had not so good experiences painting in cooler temperatures...

I know right! I’m going to try and do it while the sun is out, it was actually pretty dang warm in SF today. The paint I’ve been using drys in like 30 mins, unless you spray it on really heavy. Still will dry in under 24hrs though, best quality spray paint I could find imo.https://www.dickblick.com/products/m...k-spray-paint/

A guy emailed earlier today to buy my front & rear bumpers for 250$ so I went and removed my front bumper just now as well lol.

Nice and warm down here too. Didn't last long, but as you said, the paint dries fast. I might use a little heater inside a makeshift structure of extra 2x4s I have lying around and draping it with a couple tarps or dropcloth...

For reference, I sold my rear bumper, minus the trailer hitch for $150 last month. Nice to make some money and free-up some space!

Looking-forward to see you progress in the coming days...
