No prob haha, dang wish I woulda known that about the brake lines! I messaged them to try and change my order before it goes out, hopefully I can catch it in time. Thanks for pointing that out cause it is on my list. I probably won’t do the TBU anytime soon though cause I literally just changed the pads and rotors, but when the time comes at least I’ll be one step closer.

Just finished the arb rear diff breather and I think it came out really nice. I’ll take a pic tomorrow. Made me want to finish hooking up the rest of the breathers.

I had read about the ARB rear diff breather, but don't recall seeing any install photos. Do share when you can...

As far as the front brake lines go, I almost forgot too, but it made my "list" due to some threads I had read, this one being the most recent (2nd post):

TBU steel line replacement

If it hasn't shipped yet, I'd like to think they'll change it for you. You're moving fast with this build. Fun to follow!

It’s been on my list for years lol (when I had my Tacoma), if the previous owner didn’t include a set of brand new rotors and pads (duralast) with the purchase I would probably be doing the TBU right now. Fingers crossed they catch it.. Thanks, I’m really excited to put this thing to the test.

Ended up ordering RCI transfercase and LCA skids last night.. I’ve probably saved like 1000 on all the stuff I’ve gotten haha...

Picture dump:

New OEM gas cap (noticed PO replaced with aftermarket..)

Not t4r related but new OEM rotors/pads, spark plugs, oil filter, transmission gasket for my 2016 Scion tC

ECGS front diff needle bearing fix (will be doing this with Timmy & Sean soon hint hint)

Here’s the ARB diff breather, it has 4 ports so you can run up to 4 breathers to it. Took a lot of thought of exactly where I wanted it before I ended up putting it there.

I followed the parking brake cable with the line until it disappeared into the cab then I followed the fuel lines up around the master brake cylinder. I tried to leave a semi decent amount of slack where I could. It’s definitely a really nice kit, especially if you plan on doing the other breathers too..

Rigid rock light kit and a waterproof AUX fuse block w/ 2 relays/5 spots total

Eimkeith brackets with welding by none other than T4topher himself.

Only weld I ended up grinding down.. it was ugly AF lol.

My welding setup

Lotus rear LCA skids

Well I decided to rivnut the arb breather and remove the sheet metal screws for a more ‘factory’ look. Also mounted the bracket for my fuse box today (yes with rivnuts). Restored the windshield plastic piece with my heat gun, came out great except the small plastic grid melted so I just cut it out.. I think it actually looks better without the grid.

Nice!

Not sure on your path for the TBU, but I received confirmation earlier that this a good deal at $275:

Not wanting red, from another thread, these look to be the same, but in black.

As I just learned, the black kit on eBay has inferior pads compared to the more popular Power Stop KC2324 (red calipers, Summit Racing link)...

If you haven't noticed, there's a relevant discussion here:

Tundra Brakes input - Powerstop / Napa Eclipse / Callahan

Cool thanks for pointing that out, I think I’m going to get just the calipers from eBay and then get oem pads and rotors from camel back, comes out to like 190.

After reading some reviews for aftermkt rotors, even the popular Power Stops, I too am thinking about OEM Tundra rotors. Those (43512-0C011) look to be about 65 bucks each at Camelback, almost 160 bucks shipped...

Ordered a rear cbi bumper w/ swing out for their Black Friday sale and it already shipped out today!! Says 6- 12 week lead time on their website lol.. I’ve been waiting 10 weeks for my addicted front bumper, hopefully it ships out soon..

Wow, that's a pleasant surprise (CBI swing-out)!

I have front and rear Savage bumpers on order. I think it has been about 2 months now, but Roy set that expectation from the get-go... I have enough to do with various projects, so that's fine.

After quite of bit of reading, I ended-up going with Brembo rotors, and they arrived today actually. I think it was $118 for the pair. Yesterday I got the pads, Power Stop Z36 pads. One day delivery from Rock Auto, less than 40 dollars. The 13WL black calipers I think should be here tomorrow. Those were about $138. So, less than 300... I picked-up a quart of Valvoline synthetic brake fluid (DOT 3/4) yesterday. Oh, speed bleeders for the front and rear coming tomorrow. If interested: Russell, 639570 front & 639560 rear.

I have two biz trips upcoming though, one on Monday, but I hope to have time to get this done before I go...

Enjoy!

Nice! When I was ordering my addicted front bumper he told me 8-10 weeks but I figured another week or two.. Wasn’t really expecting the rear to ship out so quick. I just got my wheelers brake lines today, really high quality compared to the ones I had gotten for my Tacoma before. I have the speed bleeders already except I got 2x of the 639560’s lol.. I was wondering if that was going to be compatible with the tundra calipers, guess not dang. Did you end up ordering the brake lines too?

I already have the rear brake line from SS. I did order the Tacoma lines from Wheelers. Those are set arrive on Friday. Took them a while to ship for some reason... I have enough Dremel cut-off wheels, so I should be good to go this weekend, time permitting.
