That rack turned out really nice. The fairing looks killer, great job.

Couple updates:
Got a used set of oem Tundra 13wl calipers off eBay and rebuilt them with all oem toyota parts. Installed speed bleeders and painted them with red g2 caliper paint.. trd decal for an extra couple horsepers.

Made a new mount that accommodates my scangauge and phone for gps. It’s super sturdy I’m pretty happy with how it came out. Made it out of 16 gauge steel from Home Depot.

Final product of the roof rack.

Here is the Arb awning/room freestanding, really considering getting rid of the room and just getting a regular tent. I only use this for changing/putting the baby down for naps and it’s kind of a pain to setup..

Finally got a scan gauge and made a mount for it. Helped a lot seeing how hot my trans was getting while off roading, especially on steep inclines.

Finally made a set of these for 3$, worked great..

Super envious of the runner and the locale. Scenery is awesome! Looks like it was a blast! That rack is killer too!

Thank you! Definitely love going out there.

Welp the tundra brakes just got put to the test.. I think if I still had the stock 4runner brakes I literally would have crashed. The little rubber nub on my transmission kick down cable got stuck on the throttle body and was keeping the throttle open. It was making the engine rev like crazy and was extremely hard to come to a stop. My first thought was I needed to bleed the brakes again but when I dropped into nuetral and saw the rpms go up I knew it wasn’t the brakes.. I think I’m going to remove that rubber nub..

Yikes, had the throttle cable on my old 7 series stick on the engine cover and rocket me to 110mph before I could toss it and neutral and coast off the road haha. Talk about a wakeup.

Almost shit my pants when I was pulling up behind a car at a red light and couldn’t stop, glad I dropped it in neutral. Definitely woke me up haha.

After having the paint for about a year I finally got the courage to paint my rims. Very happy with how they came out.

Comparison, old on top new on bottom. Slighty darker but with a matte finish.

Thank you.

Had these door lock motors sitting around for a while and decided to tackle that today. Just finished putting the new motors in, sealed them up with some black Toyota fipg and zip ties.

Cleaned and painted the transfercase housing, Marlin crawler said my order should ship out mid January.

Also made my first cad drawing for future 3d printing plans (hoping to get one soon). Your supposed to wrap a small piece of foam pipe insulation over it and it will go right onto the metal bar that holds the upper rear seat from folding down. Thing pokes me in the back everytime I sleep back there lol..
