I remember that the 1st gen Tacoma engine specs, and you might know this, were rated higher than these 3rd gen 4Runners. Some have postulated it was due to our more restrictive muffler. If so, you might have liberated a little extra power...
Yea now I know, measure first order second haha... Hmm that’s a possibility, not sure though. We looked in my oem muffler and it definitely looked pretty restricted. The butt dyno felt a horsepower or two in gains.

Almost forgot, also did the door stopper mod.
It’s pretty satisfying but you gotta get used to the door being a bit stiffer to open.

It looks like you did all 4 doors. Did you notice a significant difference on any of them other than the drivers door?

Haha it does sort of look like it’s floating.. No worries man, I’m glad it went to a good home because I was about to toss it. Your intake definitely turned out pretty sweet!

Well here are a few updates:
-installed method 312’s on 315/75/17 cooper stt pros and started cutting the firewall
-installed JBA UCA’s
-did a DIY alignment (move LCA cam tabs so I gain maximum positive caster and then adjusted the toe within 1/64” with the steering wheel straight)
-removed cruise control
-figured out my hesitation that I get out of a rolling stop (shift solenoids)
-tinted the clear part of my tail lights (unsure about it, might remove the film..)
-both front durobumps cracked at the base going to have to shoot him an email.
-installed laminate floor in my house
-got insulation blown in the walls/attic/garage ceiling
-got vaccinated

PSA if your lifted and not running a sway bar up front your limiting factor is probably your upper ball joints.. these were brand new oem with less than 2k miles, hard to see from the picture but they are pretty ovaled out.

If you have longer coilovers than stock or have top plate spacers, for sure. I did the measuring for myself when I did my front suspension and made sure the shocks limited travel before the ball joints (stock upper arms on my 4R right now). You may also want to make sure your bump stops are the limit of the up travel too instead of the shocks (though, based on your bump stops, that is unlikely).

I have the toytec bilstien kit. Is there a way to get the fully compressed measurement without removing the spring? If not I’m not going to bother but it would be good info to have..

You might be able to do something with the coilover removed, but it would be difficult to measure. I did it with the springs off of my 5100's - which is a bit easier to do than with most adjustable coilovers.

I’m not too worried, I don’t feel like removing the springs.

Going big league! FWIW, I really like my STT Pro's and have no regrets going with them.
