Need help with vacuum lines and 2 small lines coming off power steering pump

I can’t find anywhere what hoses go on the end of the power steering pump and where they go. Also I have this hose that was on the back of the engine but I don’t know where it plugged up. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I deleted the two hoses to the power steering and can't detect any difference....that other hose at the back of the engine is a booger to get to.

the purpose of that is to allow the engine to idle up slightly when the steering wheel it turned, on side is manifold vacuum the other goes to the air intake past the MAF sensor. When the hydraulic pressure goes up, a diaphragm creates a vacuum leak, effectively raising the idle. The reason to put it past the MAF and not in front is so you don't end up with a lean condition. these little vacuum pots can leak causing a large amount of smoke to come through the tail pipe, similar to leaking valve seals.

Just went through this myself, the PS part. One goes to the front of the intake manifold/plenum the other goes straight up and takes a 90 degree turn into the intake silencer. At least that was how it laid out on my 96 4wd 5speed.

Oh dang realized i have a photo of that other hose too. Under the top manifold pieces

I have this same setup, with the 2 line connector to the PS high pressure line. It seems that mine interferes with the low pressure AC line and doesnt allow the PS pump/pulley to tighten all the way using the adusting nut. Is anyone else having this issue?

Just curious do you have a factory power steering belt on or aftermarket? Is it possible that the power steering belt is just slightly too long causing your issue?
