Just stumbled upon your thread! Truck looks really clean! I actually lived in Raleigh back in 2016 for a year, and while I loved it, I just missed FL and the beach :/ I was in the Crabtree area. Anyways I was wondering if you have any updates on that Eibach kit.. my truck came with a cheap rough country kit that I’m looking to replace

While everything was apart, installed/wired up onboard air - ARB Twin Compressor in cargo compartment (Perfect fit!). Used an extension harness to reach the back of the truck.
Used a Sheet of steel behind the interior plastic for mounting rigidity
Blue loctite on bolts for vibration resistance
OEM cargo panel cover fits on, hides this 100%
Ran switch to dash w/ White LED

After the interior Sound damping job, I decided to revamp all of the audio.
The end result of this is AMAZING. The sound clarity is like being in a concert setting. It doesn't have the deep, low bass of a ported box, for example, but it is amazingly clear.
If you spend a considerable amount of time behind the wheel, I highly recommend updating the sound system.
Digging in:
- Alpine iLX-207 7” Double-Din head unit with Apple Car Play, Bluetooth, GPS, etc
- Alpine KTP-445A compact In-Dash amplifier (replaces stock, and is plug and play to the Alpine head unit)
- (2) Alpine PWE-S8 8” powered subwoofers, ran in series (one under each seat). Harness is all custom and properly fused, etc.
These subwoofers fit perfectly under each front seat. I used Riv-Nuts to fasten them to the carpet. (no floorboard drilling). I unfortunately didn't take pics with the seats out, but can try to snap some pics with them installed if anyone is interested. The best part about these is that they're out of sight-out of mind (and they'll literally shake the seats, which is kind of theatrical )
- Amazon front door speaker adapters to allow 6.5” door speakers
- Alpine 6.5” front door speakers with Alpine tweeters in OEM location.
- Amazon rear door speaker adapters to allow 5.25” door speakers
- Alpine 5.25” rear door speakers
- Speaker adapter harnesses front and rear to preserve OEM uncut wiring
While the center stack was out, I hooked up a ScanGauge2 with Paranoid Fabrications metal bracket, mounted in ash tray area

Sub wiring
Weaksauz’s, Could you please elaborate on the wiring you did for the subs. I am doing the same thing in my 4 runner and want to make sure my thoughts on the wiring are correct. Don’t want to have a smoke show.
Thanks, RayM.

Sweet build man, at the rate of which you keep this thing up, it could be your son's first vehicle lol.

Yes - the driver's door too. Both have been repainted for one reason or another.

Yep. Around 1.5yrs ago, I found a phone number in the top of the center console that ended up being the previous owner. They explained that the clear coat on the hood, roof, and tops of the front fender was starting to get cloudy.
The bodyshop re-sprayed hood, fenders, roof, and they decided to re-spray the doors to help with blending. And silver is tough color to blend. Almost wish they'd left it alone
I'm thinking about a full vinyl wrap job these days... AVERY DENNISON SW900 SUPREME BRUSHED TITANIUM METALLIC VINYL WRAP | SW – Instawraps
